Sandream's glass (a borosilicate) based pearl pigments give off a glistening and eye catching look. At relatively larger particle sizes, these pearls work wonderfully in nail polish, eye shadow, lip gloss and other areas sparkling effect is desired.

Same as the mica and synthetic mica pearls, the glass line also comes in a wide range of colours: silver white, interference, golden and colours, and colour variables (with strong colour flop effect). Should 150µm be the upper limit for cosmetic applications, no worry; there are plenty of choices in each category. Each of these colours is highly attractive, original, and can be used for anything requiring a hypnotizing effect.

Sandream's aluminum based Argent pigments have a high chromatic and metallic effect. These pigments are made from aluminum flake coated with one to multiple layers of silica and metal oxides. Different from aluminum powder, which is easily oxidized and agglomerated, the Argent line is very stable and can disperse well in both solvent and water borne systems (in water system, oxidizing ingredients should be avoided).

These pearls have a strong chromatic, reflective, and metallic effect due to its composition and narrowly distributed particle range (30-60µm, and 50-80µm). The Argent line provides good luster, brightness, colour intensity, and coverage. When it is mixed with other pigments (e.g. organic or pearls), it could generate amazing multicolour effect. The Argent works very well in nail polish, eye shadow and coatings, etc. (not allowed for lip products).
