TCL Innovations Surfactants

TI-NatSurf™ are series of unique naturally inspired proprietary concentrated blends of nonionic, anionic, amphoteric surfactants derived from plant based renewable resources and natural amino acids. The materials used in formulating TI-NatSurf™ products have been balanced in order to maximize each component's performance characteristics while delivering cost effective products. The novel use of synergistic ingredients in TI-NatSurf™ series provides a unique product with superior foam performance to traditional sulphate and ether sulphate based systems. The foam generated is an extremely stable matrix of small uniform bubbles. TI-NatSurf™ series can be readily dispersed in cold or warm water. They have excellent compatibility with traditional anionic systems, such as lauryl and laureth sulphates and variety of sulphonates.

TI-NatSurf™ BW

Baby Bath Foam

The ingredients used in TI-NatSurf™ BW contribute to the products' extreme mildness, and substantively to the skin. The product is non-drying, and leaves a soft "after feel" on the skin.
TI-NatSurf™ BW can be used "AS IS", with the addition of auxiliary ingredients to formulate premium body wash products, or the preferred level is 12% to 16% actives, to produce a range of high end bath products. TI-NatSurf™ BW may be used as the primary or as the secondary surfactant in many bath preparations. Its viscosity can be adjusted by the use of non-ionic surfactants, synthetic polymers, or a variety of natural gums. It will not respond significantly to the use of inorganic salts on its own, such as sodium or ammonium chloride.

 

TI-NatSurf™ FHS

Shaving Foam

The ingredients used in TI-NatSurf™ FHS contribute to the products' extreme mildness, and substantively to the skin. The product is non-drying, and leaves a soft "after feel" on the skin.
TI-NatSurf™ FHS is specifically designed for use in aerated pump foaming systems. TI-NatSurf™ FHS may be used as the primary or as the secondary surfactant in a variety of toiletry preparations using aerated pump foaming systems as their mode of delivery.
When formulating products for aerated pump foaming systems, the recommended use level is between 7% and 15% solids of TI-NatSurf™ FHS. This use level will depend on the quality of product desired, and any other ingredients used in combination with the TI-NatSurf™ FHS in the final preparation.

 

TI-NatSurf™ QCB

[Aqua, Cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, Myristamine Oxide, Caprylyl/capryl glucoside, Decyl glucoside]

Foam

TI-NatSurf™ QCB is uniquely designed to provide complete compatibility with quaternary ammonium compounds and other cationics.
TI-NatSurf™ QCB can be used in aerated pump foaming systems, as well as traditional hand pumps systems for toiletry preparations. TI-NatSurf™ QCB may be used as the primary or as the secondary surfactant in a variety of bath products, and its cationic compatibility makes it an excellent candidate for '2 in 1'.
When formulating products for aerated pump foaming systems, the recommended use level is between 10% and 12% actives of TI-NatSurf™ QCB, and 18% actives or higher for body and hair products. These use levels will depend on the quality of products desired, and any other ingredients used in combination with the TI-NatSurf™ QCB in the final preparation.

 

TI-GrnSurf™ LCI

Shampoo Foam

TI-GrnSurf™ LCI is a unique synergistic mixture of mild secondary surfactants, designed to achieve primary surfactant performance. It has good cleansing and emulsification properties, and is able to provide a rich stable "lather type" creamy foam. TI-GrnSurf™ LCI is ideal for use in mild cleansing applications such as shampoos, bubble baths, hand soaps, and other mild personal care products. Its mildness helps contribute to colour retention in shampoos for treated hair.
TI-GrnSurf™ LCI is ideally suited for personal care products with pH's in the range of 4.5 to 6.5. It has excellent compatibility with a variety of other surfactants, including alkyl poly glucosides and natural soaps. TI-GrnSurf™ LCI is especially suited for use in combination with TI-NatSurf™ BW in a ratio of 4:1 on an ASIS bases, in addition it can be used in combination with other non-ionics or amphoterics, typically in a ratio of 5-6:1 (TI-GrnSurf™ LCI :amphoteric/nonionic).
